A.J. Blackman
A.J. Blackman writes adult romantic fantasy where magic is dangerous, loyalties are complicated, and falling in love rarely makes anything easier. Her stories explore flawed people, impossible choices, slow-burning relationships, and the families we build when the ones we're born into aren't enough.
Her love of fantasy began when her sister introduced her to Terry Goodkind's novels, and she's been happily lost in fictional worlds ever since. The Forgotten is her debut novel and the first book in The Four, a series of four interconnected stories about magic, love, and the lengths people will go to protect those who matter most.
When she isn't writing, A.J. is usually planning her next trip, searching for an observatory wherever she travels, finding somewhere to swim, or spending an unreasonable amount of time with her cat and dog.
She lives in Pennsylvania with her husband. Her home is excessively clean; her cooking remains a public safety concern. She loves the outdoors but maintains that bugs have been given more than enough territory already.
